Module 1 begins January 27
5pm PT | 8pm ET | 12pm AEDT
Ngondro meditations are the foundation of spiritual growth, focusing on identity, body, relationships, and the past and future. These practices purify, train, and empower the mind and body, addressing key areas of Buddhist psychology such as identity, relationships, forgiveness, and empowerment.
This comprehensive course on Ngondro will be taught in four modules to support the accomplishment of practice over the period of one year. Module 1, The Field of Buddhas, will focus on purification of speech and generating the refuge field. This is a practice of getting resourced, learning one’s own lineage and understanding the field of support for one’s spiritual journey.
“There are different approaches to Ngondro, for some schools of Tibetan Buddhism it is reserved for much later. But for the Nyingma tradition we open the door to Ngondro meditations sooner, because for us it is the core or nucleus of spiritual training.” – Pema Khandro on Ngondro
